August 2018

The hot weather continues and so do the T storms that have become a regular occurrence. I know, it's great because we don't have to water our lawns but the weeds have definitely taken over!

The striper fishing has slowed a bit but the fly and light tackle anglers are still catching. Afternoons are very slow and I would recommend booking an early morning trip.

Pogies have entered the harbor in big numbers and the live bait fishermen are landing some really large bass, But that has become a waiting game and unless you're on a big bite it's kind of like watching paint dry.

I have a number of open dates available between now and August 19 when I leave for France and return on Sept. 2. Then the fall fishing begins!!

Be well and fish on!
